要在时尚市场取得成功,关键在于确保整个服装系列的统一性。衬衫系列必须保持相同的剪裁、品质和颜色,以维护品牌的完整性。

由于牛仔布是加工难度最大的面料之一,确保同一品牌牛仔裤在不同工厂生产时保持颜色一致性极为困难。要保证整卷牛仔布的色差测量结果保持一致,制造商必须使用分光光度计/色差仪等精密测量设备。

牛仔布染色的挑战

牛仔布在服装制造中可能是个棘手的面料,原因多种多样。织造一卷牛仔布需要精确的工艺,但这也造就了牛仔布闻名于世的坚韧特性。

这些挑战同样存在于牛仔布染色过程中,织物中的编织纹理会导致染料难以均匀覆盖整个布卷。牛仔布染色主要有两种方式:靛蓝染色和硫磺染色。

  • 靛蓝染色在牛仔布生产中广泛应用,因其能呈现出其他染料难以企及的理想天蓝色调。然而,若操作不当,靛蓝染色工艺可能导致洗涤后出现不理想的褪色现象。
  • 硫磺染料通常是比靛蓝更经济的牛仔布染色选择,但其颜色选择范围相对有限。多数制造商在使用硫磺染色时会选择深色系。非蓝色系在硫磺染色中也较为常见。

21世纪初是高端牛仔裤的时代。在布兰妮·斯皮尔斯、玛丽亚·凯莉和坎耶·韦斯特等明星的推动下,高端牛仔品牌如雨后春笋般涌现,提供丰富多样的水洗工艺和剪裁款式。 即便在经济衰退时期,True Religion、7 For All Mankind和Hudson等品牌仍凭借高价策略蓬勃发展,消费者争相购买售价高达300美元的牛仔裤。然而风向突变——销量骤降导致曾风靡全球的顶级牛仔品牌相继倒闭,其余品牌也陷入前途未卜的境地。

Off Goods Reduced by Spectrophotometer Use in Post-Dye Tufted Carpet

这种事时有发生。员工操作失误,地毯成品与预期不符。整卷地毯被从生产线撤下,贴上降价标签,运往仓库后方的卡车旁,与其他次品堆在一起。这可不是能为你创造利润的卡车——而是运往折扣买家的卡车,他们会从你无处可售的地毯上赚取差价。 每车货物都凝聚着数日的机器运转时间和数千美元的原材料成本。这实在令人扼腕——尤其当整卷地毯因可避免的失误(比如色彩测量偏差)而报废时。

但精确测量并非总是轻而易举之事,即便将每块划痕样本置于分光光度计下检测也无法保证结果准确。簇绒地毯独特的材质特性会给这些仪器带来显著困难,唯有系统性地遵循正确工艺,才能实现稳定的色彩品质——并减少浪费。

簇绒地毯固有的挑战

分光光度计通过特定角度将受控波长和强度的光线反射至物理材料表面,并利用精密调校的传感器记录光线反射的变化,以此生成可测量的客观色彩读数。该仪器唯一无法控制的变量是待测物体的物理特性。同色物体若存在质地、光泽或不透明度差异,可能产生不同的测量结果。

绒头地毯的每个样本中,质地、光泽度和不透明度都存在差异。由于圈绒纱线无法完全覆盖地毯表面,纤维间的空隙会在不同背景上产生不同的读数。根据所用材料的不同,底衬也可能具有半透明特性,从而进一步扩大误差范围。

簇绒和染色工艺还可能导致特定样品上出现定向分布或非均匀的色彩。这意味着从不同角度测得的数值可能存在差异,同一样品不同部位的读数也可能不同。地毯某部分可能符合色差容差标准,另一部分却可能达标,导致一张完美无瑕的地毯被判定为次品,最终沦为次品堆里的废料。
